I’m a writer and editor living in Brooklyn. My prose has appeared in The Threepenny Review, 3:AM, American Literary Review, FENCE, and many Australian literary journals, including Meanjin Quarterly, The Lifted Brow, and Island Magazine. You can find my poetry in Australian Poetry Journal, Cordite, Meanjin, Voiceworks and Running Dog. I’m an Axinn Fellow (MFA) at New York University.

Since 2022, I’ve served as an Editor for Washington Square Review. Previously, I was an Editor at Voiceworks Online. As an Honours in English and Philosophy student at the University of Melbourne, I sub-edited Melbourne Arts Journal, CAMP Magazine and Farrago. I also directed Talkbox (a series of eleven spoken-word nights at Classic Cinemas), and produced a few independent zines, gigs and gallery openings.

I won American Literary Journal’s 2024 Essay Contest and Express Media’s 2021 Deakin Nonfiction Prize. I’ve been shortlisted for the Island Nonfiction Prize and Woollahra’s Digital Literary Award. In 2020, I was awarded The University of Melbourne’s Chevalier Richard Gunter Prize for English, and shortlisted for The Wheeler Centre’s Next Chapter Programme. In 2019, my first literary essay was shortlisted for The Lifted Brow & non/FictionLab’s Experimental Non-Fiction Prize.

My crosswords have been published in The Australian, Herald Sun, The West Australian, and The Courier-Mail, among others.

Through my writing and editing roles, I’ve hosted and presented on panels and workshops for the Emerging Writers’ Festival, Freeplay Festival, The Wheeler Centre, Melbourne Arts Students Society, RMIT School of Education and local radio shows.
